We are always in need of help for the animals so we are so gratefull of any donations no matter how small for the rescue,

We are not a rescue to ask for money we rather have donations in materials but if you wish to make a donation you can do so buy sending a cheque payable to Second Chance or we would prefer any money donation to be made payable to Easi Pet Care as we struggle massively every month to cover our vet bill as it is approx £4000 - £5000 a month.

If you would like to purchased any materials as a donation please ring the rescue to ask what we are currently in need of.

"Bobby"

Bobby was adopted by the most wonderful lady i have ever met "Janet",

Janet took on bobby and made him into a little superstar, sadly Janet passed away in July 2011, Bobby is now being super well cared for by her husband, Janet was such a animal lover and would do anything to help animals,

Janet and her husband have supported our rescue for the past 4 years and provided us with so many blankets, paint, newspapers, food etc and even raffle prizes,  

I know that even though Janet has gone, she will be a twinkling star that will always look out for our animals, Janet will always stay in our hearts and will remain in such a big part of our rescue memories.

We would like to say a big thankyou to Mr Naisbitt of Plumtree Nottingham who very kindly sent a cheque to our vets for £250 towards our bill, This has most gratefully recieved

We would like to say thankyou to Wendy, Julie and Erica Whiting who held a garden party in Attenbourgh and raised a fantastic £250 for the rescue, we have paid this to our vets to go towards our never endless vet bill, Thankyou to you all for taking the time in organising the event and donating to our rescue.

we would like to say a big thankyou to the logistics manager from Skanska who has very kindly in the last month donated materials to help with any renervations here at the rescue for the animals,

Thankyou to Jane and Paul who adopted little Meg from Second Chance 8 months ago, they have very kindly donated a cheque for £200 to help us with our ever growing vets bill.

we would like to say thankyou to all the customers at the Navigation Inn at Overseal for doing a charity night and raising £227 from the raffle and supporting our rescue centre.

Tim and Wendy Whiting with the help of Julie Stoppard, Kath Dakin, Sharon Thatcher and Kate Poole raised £310.00 for us at a charity day held at their home on May 19th 2012.

This is the Third year this event has been held with money raised going to Second Chance.

Thanks go to all who attended and made this such a successful day.

 KENNEL GATE CHILWELL

Our grateful thanks go to Kennelgate of Chilwell for their support over the past year ( 2011- 2012) Staff and Customers have donated food, toys, baskets and also raised a substantial sum of money for us.

Their ongoing support is vital in helping us help many of these unwanted dogs find their new forever home. 

FUN DAY Donations
